Peter Leonard Garratt
1929 - 30 September 2018

Peter was born in Preston and spent his childhood living in the Preston area, starting work at English Electric as Electrical Engineer/Fitter.  In 1963 Peter started his own business as an Electrical Contracting Company, retiring at 63 years of age, with his son Steven then taking control.

Peter was a Freemason for over 30 years.  Married to Eileen, he had two daughters and two granddaughters.  Peter was keen on golf, being a member of Fairhaven Golf Club, and he enjoyed reading, walking and most sports - mainly football and rugby, which he played in his youth.

Peter had been a Probus member since 2015 and he had been sufferibng from Alzheimers.  He lived in Fylde Road in St Annes.
