The Probus Club of St Annes-on-the-Sea
Frank Connaughton Frank was born in Blackburn. In the early 1950s he did two years National Service in the Royal Artillery. Later he was employed by a Security Company in the role of an International Security Advisor, at times living in large houses (and at least once in a castle) while the owners were away. He was a member of Blackpool South Probus Club and was at one time its Speaker Secretary, until it disbanded in 2013. He joined St Annes Probus club in 2010 and was a regular attender at at our meetings. He leaves a wife, Kath and a son, Tony.
